Every one knows its summer and I know for a fact that by the time its over, people will have at least one memorable thing that happened to them. So, even though summer hasnt offically started yet, I've already got mine. About two weeks ago, I went to this lake by my moms house. For all you Arkansasans out there its called Lake Norel. Well, I was swimming with my brothers and my sister in law when i fell. I thought I'd scraped my leg on the rocks cause thats what it felt like. Well, the next day there where these two white heads on my leg. I thought it was a spider bit (cause my moms house is totally infested) and treated it like one. My older brother told me to squeeze the venoom sack out. Right. So my dumb self did it. Then I found out iot wasnt a spider bite at all. With in the next two days, It started oozing a mixture of blood and black puss. Plus I was keeping a fever and couldnt hardly walk on my leg. It turns out that I had been bitten by a water mocisian. I made it four days with no treatment, no anti venom and no permant dammige to my leg. Now thats not really the part I'll remember. So what a snake bit me, big deal. The memorable thing is that my mom took me to childrens hospital to get something done about it. Well, the ever so smart docs there told my mom it was an absess and had to be drained. They were right about the draining part. I had to get lanced. So I was sitting in a room with my mother and my fiance and they tried to deaden my leg. Local meds dont work on me. It takes the strong stuff to have any effect on me. They didnt listen. My mom and fiance had to hold me down when the doctor lanced my leg. Lancing, for those of you who don't know and would like to, involves taking a sharp object, in my case a long needle and jabbing the wound repeatedly to make a hole. Then they squeeze every thing that is in the wound out. I'll admit, im a wuss. I screamed when they did it. If i could have I'd of kicked that docter square in the face. Excep getting my nipple peireced it was the most painful experience of my life. Hell of a way to start the summer huh?
